1 Check operation(starter)

  1. Check that the starter operates normally and that the engine starts.

  2.  check the indicator light when shifting into except d position.

    Ok: the indicator light goes off when shifting into except d position.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to on.
  2.  measure voltage between terminal 4 (d) of cruise control ecu assy connector and body ground when shifting into d position and other positions.

  1. Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between cruise control ecu assy and park/ neutral position switch
